Roxy Marj

I must let everyone know about my beautiful and oh so talented friend, Roxy Marj. Her childlike enthusiasm and originality drives Roxy's innovative designs in Fashion, Illustration, Interior, the list goes on and on. In my eyes, this woman puts Anthropologie to shame in both style and creativity! But don't just take my word for it.

Step into the her world at

Here is a peak of Roxy's apartment which is FOR RENT.
Is anyone interested?

I must tell my dear friend congrats on her recent engagement!
I am so thrilled for her and her hubby to be. A perfect creative match and I can't wait to see the wedding design.

Home Office

I finally finished the home office, a.k.a the CALLE Office, for Travis. Hopefully this inspires him to make millions! One can hope right?

I painted the walls GRAY STONE by Benjamin Moore.

I wanted to personalize the office so I framed his CALLE poster and displayed the new shoe/ shoe boxes on the wall.

We are limited on storage in our little apartment so I came up a design for the desk by using two display/storage shelves from IKEA and placing them on their sides.
I then purchase an IKEA conference table and placed it on top.

The chairs are from OVERTSTOCK.COM

The vision board is just two metal sheet from HOMEDEPOT which happen to be magnetic .

Behind the Scences of RE Photo Shoot

When Jacque Riehl from Riehl Events asked Travis and I to be her models for the Riehl Events 2011 "Dream Campaign," I was very hesitant to say yes.

Travis and I are not model material! ...But we are very much in love and in my eyes, he is the sexiest man alive. So I agreed.

Luckily I have the best husband in the world, who was willing to do whatever was needed to pull off a successful photo shoot.

More about the design and the wonderful people involved later.

Bring on the Turkey!

The snow is here and Christmas is around the corner, but lets not forget the wonderful month of November and what it represents. Thanksgiving is the time to express our gratitude and enjoy good company and great food around a fabulously decorated table. Your style of course :)

I wanted to share the details of my sister - in - law's baby shower. As mentioned earlier, I went to Maryland for a week to help Tiffany get her new home in order and host a house warming/baby shower.

Yummy Desserts made by Tiffany's close friends

Popcorn Party Favors

Homemade Rolls displays in a Vintage Bread Tin

Gray Ribbon mail to Maryland from California
from Party Planner Pam (my mother-in-law)

We went with Stripes since this was both
a house warming party and baby shower

Paper Flowers made out of Coffee Filters

I was fortunate to visit when Maryland's infamous fall leaves were in their prime. This made racking the leaves a very nostalgic and pleasing experience.

Hanging out with these sweet boys was an added bonus.
